Owner and Cofounder of The Ink Society. I like my tattoos to have a sense of wonder to them. A lot of my drawings have some naif elements in them and I get that inspiration from children’s drawings and kids overall sense of wonder. Kids drawings are really endearing and are often very funny. Therefore humor also is a big part of my style. Both tattoos and art are always so serious and, dare I say it, pretentious, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I think a tattoo can be light and quirky without taking away from the meaning it has to the owner. I think it will even amplify the meaning.
