What about body hair?

Body hair is normal.
The majority of people have it.
Do not feel ashamed about body hair. 

When we tattoo we need to remove hair from the area that is being tattooed.
We do this to avoid infection, ingrown hairs and other complications.

Should you shave?
Some artists will ask you to remove hair prior to the appointment, some prefer to do it themselves. 
If your tattoo will be in an area with long hair you can also trim it beforehand. 

It is important that you shave a large area to leave room for second skin.
Make sure to shave with running water to avoid razor burn. 

No wounds!
What is important is that if you do it yourself, you make sure that you do not create any wounds.
We cannot tattoo over wounds.
